Hi
Adithya is learning everyday new things..good ones and naughty ones. He does not cry now to go to school. But in another two weeks his school closes for summer vacation 2 months. He is missing his father. Anand has gone to ahmedabad on a project for 3-4 months.
He says dad has gone to meet manager uncle and will come on saturday. (poor little guy does not know which saturday...) He talks to his dad on phone. Over last 3 months he was close to his dad. Loved to play with dad and was excited whenever he took him out. At the same time dad used to scold him and get wild at him also...unlike mom.
He goes to the bathroom when requried unlike before. He still wakes up saying no bath and no brush. Still cries during night time sometimes. At times he is uncontrollable during night times when he cries.... he has always troubled me during night times... lot of sleepless nights in the last 2.5 years.
The other day he said K for cake. He is learning and his brain is absorbing everything we tell or teach or he watches. He likes disney house channel now.
He wears his pant by himself and shoes by himself. Imitates his teacher. At times he is adamant and irritating. Keeps me busy every minute.
He loves his little cars - has 7 of them now. He knows the colours and even if one is missing he keeps asking for it.
Troubles me to drink milk.. I think most kids hate milk... dont know why? He hardly takes half a glass of milk per day. Loves all junk crispy stuff...loves fruits and eates most vegetables... which is a good thing for now.
Feels good to write about my son...
Good job jambav team......

The other day he was watching Alauddin on TV and saw the gini .. he asked me what is this.. (he always asks me what is this?) I told him it is called “jeeboomba”. The gini was bald and had a tiny pony hair behind. Last Sunday we went to a temple and there he saw a young man and he shouted “sukanya look jeeboomba” and I told him it was not jeeboomba and he was a priest in the temple. My son laughed and said –“ I called the pandit a jeeboomba”
He is growing smart and is learning lot of things, tries to relate lot of things. He knows the signal lights. He knows lot of rhymes and lot of songs. The list is as follows ….
Vande maataram, Raghupathy raghava raja ram, om jai jagdish hare, allah tero naam, so gaya ye jahan, kuch na kaho, rim jim rim jim, dil ne kaha chupke se, yamunai aatrile, keladi kanmani, kanne kalaimaane, phoolon ka taron ka, kya hua thera vaada, chookar mere man ko, sutrum vizi chudare, oru maalai ila veyil, china china aasai, kaadal roja ve, nanna munna rahi hoon, randakka randakka, and many more…
He loves music. He wears his shoes by himself. He wears his pants by himself with little help. He tells when he has to pee or poo pee. He is still scared of beach, water or swimming pool. He also does not enjoy theatre and kid rides in the park. He like swing and slide. Slide is his favourite.
He likes carrot and all tiffin items like idly (his favourite) dosa, chapatti, upma, semiya upma. He loves curd rice and potato. He drinks water from his sippy bottle and drinks milk from straw glass. He does not like milk. With great difficulty he takes half a glass every morning.
He does lot of hungamma at home to have food but at day care he is the best child. Sits in one place and takes food. Eats whatever is offered to him without any fuss. Drinks milk, porridge like a very good boy. Even today I have to sing to put him to sleep. He does not sleep by himself.
He talks tamil, few English words and few kannada words. Its surprising he has learnt kannada so fast in last couples of months. He understands kannada to a certain extent and tries to communicate and reply in kannada (few tamil words in between )

Hi All
I am back after six months to update on my little prince - Adithya.
He is fun, naughty, smart, irritating, adamant, stubborn and great to be with…..…….. My job is going fine and he is going to a play home near by. Finally after 4 months, he does not cry to go to school, but still cries when I drop him to day care on Saturdays (he is been going to that day care from past 1 yr 3 months).
He is just the opposite in school, very quite and well behaved child (opposite at home).. he hardly speaks and mingles with other kids… but listens to his teacher and answers all questions. very smart.
At home he talks non stop, does not sit for a second, gets the whole roof down. Just the opposite in school. I guess he feels he is the king at home, only person who gets all attention, but in school there are many like him and nobody really pays attention to what u do…guess he will get better and start loving going to school.
He can recognize all the alphabets, numbers from 1 to 10, few colours, shapes, pictures of animals, few birds, flowers, vegetables, fruits, few insects..etc. He does not know how to write..but manages to write few alphabets like C, W, U, V, M, O, H, J. His favourite toys these days are Car, lorry, bus, cycle, - all transport vehicles.
He still calls me sukanya and not amma, sometimes sukanya amma. Calls his dad either appa or anand. These days he watches Disney house channel, he likes pooh baby, handy many, little Einstein and bunny town.
He is growing smart and is learning lot of things, tries to relate lot of things. He knows the signal lights. He knows lot of rhymes and lot of songs.
He loves music. He wears his shoes by himself. He wears his pants by himself with little help. He tells when he has to pee or poo pee. He is still scared of beach, water or swimming pool. He also does not enjoy theatre and kid rides in the park. He like swing and slide. Slide is his favourite.

Hi All
I am typing in this blog after one year. Cant believe life has changed this way for me.
My son is now 2 yrs and 2 months and is a big naughty boy. I started working from JAN 08 and I just could not make time to update this blog. Today finally I have made up my mind and am updating this blog.
He love his magic slate and keeps drawing a lot of things and names them too. I used to draw pictures and show him from 1 yr 3 months, and today he can recognize all of them. He can say all the days of the week and all the months. He can write A, C, L, M , W, O, H, V, U…….and recognize most numbers between 1 to 10 Pictures like – Apple, mango, grapes, table, chair, sun moon star, mountain, tree, aeroplane, auto , car, cycle, bus, train, girl, boy, flower, banana. He can recognize most of the cars. When we had been on mangalore trip he recognized moving car on the road from the moving train. He can recognize alto, indica, maruthi, santro, quails, wagon R.. He loves train and is scared when I take him close to a moving train but enjoyes watching it. He is scared of beaches but loves playing in water at home.
These days he is very stubborn and cries for everything. When he cries too much he vomits.
Well lot of things to write about him
May be I will continue in my next blog…need to keep updating now very often and will do so.

Hi everybody
Adithya is growing and more new words to his dictionary
He says Aapu for Apple, mummy, haki for pati, appa, gagi for daddy, nanny for thanni, oooeee to go out
uggha for yenga (where), maai for bye,..
His second diwali was great and fun with periappa and misha, he was scared of cracker sound but enjoyed watching flower pots, chakra and sparklers. He is walking now rather running..and dizzy dazzing all the way.....he keeps us in a high tension (topple or hit).He is able to reach things on dining table, showcase, kitchen rack (anything kept at the corner). He understands whatever we say and has become adamant, he cries if he wants something or if we snatch things from him. He screams and shouts to get his way out.
Almost most kids somehow learn this technic of getting things done by crying or shouting or screaming. If adithya hears some loud sound he covers his ears with his hands. His favourites are crow and dog, everytime he comes out he keeps calling for the crow (says ka ka ka ) and am sure hearing the way he calls, the crows would fear and fly away from him. He closes his eyes with his hands when we say "peekaboo" and also when he plays with his peekaboo toy.
Adithya knows verywell when his dad is getting ready to go to office, the moment his dad is out with the helmet adithya also follows him (ofcourse his mother carrying him) and when dad starts his bike adithya wants to sit behind him and have a small ride. Adithya loves to play and enjoys the slide, two of us hold his hands. He loves hot and spicy food and enjoys curd rice (most kids like it), basically he likes rice or tiffin items rather than his cerelac and wants to eat everything even if its not meant for him. He likes to read books , the small book with pictures of animals or vegetables, fruits. He takes the book, turns pages and keeps reading himself (in his own language). He knows to identify tiger and apple in his book.
Few months back i used to tell him there is a "boomboomkaara" (monster man) and scare him and now he is not very scared and in fact tells me how that monster man shouts.
Sometimes i wonder how my son who is only 1 yr and 2 months has few typical boyish characters (unlike a girl child who would play with toys and imitate her mother) how does a child develop such things, nobody teaches them neither they are big enough to understand such things, but when u have two kids one male and a female of the same age in the same room, u can really see how they behave differently atleast for a short period of time..
well i dont know what new things my son is learning but am learning a lot more looking at the way he is growing. MOTHERHOOD IS MORE THAN A PHD ............

Hello everybody my name is sukanya and am going to tell u abt my son Adithya who just completed 1yr.
He is adorable and cute and sometimes very annoying, its strange to see kids how they learn their mother tongue. By 10th month my son was able to understand what we were saying and was trying to communicate with us in his own way. By 12 months my son is able to understand and talk (in his language) so many things, i wonder how quickly they grasp and learn .
He is trying to walk on his own, he has started taking few steps trying to balance himself and then goes down on his knees, he does a weird thing, he walks on his knees sometimes..very strange. My son has the habit of sucking his middle two fingers (left hand) and so he finds it easy to suck and simultaneously move around on his knees.
He likes to play with his toys, when the toy is at a little distance he calls it by saying "ba ba ba" waving his hands.Nobody taught him this but strange he knew thats the way u call somebody to ur side. Every day my MIL places little rice for the crows and she takes adithya along while doing so, now everytime he sees rice he calls for the crow by saying "akaa ka ka akaa" (any time of the day). My son loves music (any kind of music) , ad music, TV serial title songs(his favourite), film song very few , ring tones and classical sometimes. He likes kids, he is very excited to see kids run and play around him.
The first thing that he learnt at the age of 6 months was the cooker whistle,he was scared of the whistle not any more. He was never really scared of anything, even in his fear there was a curiosity to c and know what was happening around, though he would hold me tight he would still want me to take him close to the sound he heard of or the thing he wanted to c. When we scold him he just laughs and sometimes just avoids us.
Gosh this is never ending i can just go on writing about his tricks, plays, etc . I just wonder how the kid manages to spend time with whatever is around and never gets bored or tired, he is always filled with new pranks, new tricks, he finds such things exciting around him, we just cannot even think of , he finds so much fun and excitement while playing with a cup, spoon, plate.
This stage between 1 year to 4 years of every child is the most wonderful experience. One can really see nature's gift and god's creation. The child makes u forget that there is a world around u, for the mother atleast for me my son has become my world, i dont know what is happening around me , whomever i meet i only talk about my son, always am thinking about him his life, his future...................DOES THIS REALLY HAPPEN TO EVERY MOTHER or i can only say i have become like this and to a certain extent i have no regrets.
