I am typing in this blog after one year. Cant believe life has changed this way for me.
My son is now 2 yrs and 2 months and is a big naughty boy. I started working from JAN 08 and I just could not make time to update this blog. Today finally I have made up my mind and am updating this blog.
Let me start from where I left in my last blog. My son was 1 year and 2 months then. He has grown so much now. He is fast and quick learner. He is smart and cute. He got all his teeth by 15 months except one which he got my 18 months. He started saying lot of words by 15 months and started sentences by 18 months. He understands everything we speak and even our expressions.
His father was away for 6 months feb to june 08 and he was just with me and grand parents. He grew fast these days and when his dad was back he did not recognize him, however over a period of item he got close to his dad. His health also was bad during last few months. In APR he fell sick and had a convulsion and I was scared. Thank god he recovered, but his health is on and off. Looks like most kids have this problem. They are fine for 2-3 weeks and again fall sick. The same is with adithya.
We had been to madurai in july for his second tonsure and then to Chennai again (first trip in dec 07) he enjoyed. Our first pleasure trip with me my husband and adithya to mangalore in oct 08 was fun and tough with adithya traveling in car. But we enjoyed
His Second birthday was a simple one at home. Every year I donate some cash to a blind school on his birthdate. Got a duggries for him. He is very active kid and learns very fast. Smart and cute. Talks a lot like his mom. Most of his behaviour is like his mom and some like his dad. – Am not exaggerating its true.
He loves music and songs and knows lot of them. Keeps singing to himself like vande mataram, alla tero nam, raghupati raghav raja ram, jana gana mana, yamunai aatrile, keladi kanmani, kanne kalaimane, sogaya ye jahan, kabi kabi mere dil me, dil ne kaha chupke se, kuch na kaho, guru brahma, kamala kucha chinchuka, shantakaram, annapoorni, oh papa laali, sendoora poove, etc and many more rhymes.
He love his magic slate and keeps drawing a lot of things and names them too. I used to draw pictures and show him from 1 yr 3 months, and today he can recognize all of them. He can say all the days of the week and all the months. He can write A, C, L, M , W, O, H, V, U…….and recognize most numbers between 1 to 10 Pictures like – Apple, mango, grapes, table, chair, sun moon star, mountain, tree, aeroplane, auto , car, cycle, bus, train, girl, boy, flower, banana. He can recognize most of the cars. When we had been on mangalore trip he recognized moving car on the road from the moving train. He can recognize alto, indica, maruthi, santro, quails, wagon R.. He loves train and is scared when I take him close to a moving train but enjoyes watching it. He is scared of beaches but loves playing in water at home.
These days he is very stubborn and cries for everything. When he cries too much he vomits.
He has had his share of wounds in these last 7 to 8 months. Keeps falling and hurting his head. He keeps hurting his right head very often. Right from birth, he came into this world with a slit on his right head with stitches. He hit his head hard on the ground in feb in my mom’s place and had a big ball shape wound on his right forehead. Hurt his fingers twice in the door way. Just yesterday he rolled down 4-5 steps in the stairs in our house.THANK GOD HE DID NOT HURT HIMSELF. I keep Thanking god for giving me such a wonderful kid and keep praying to god asking him to keep adithya and my husband together with me always. My life is nothing without these two people.
His vocabulary --- valliya- varalaya, aajam pati - Rajam pati, aajesh – Rajesh, sukanya, gigina or sukanna, or kishkinna, he hardly calls me amma, he calls me sukanya. He talks exactly the way I talk to him. For example if I ask him nee varaiya? He answers again nee varaiya. He just imitates me while talking, that’s the first way of learing for the kid. They just ape and say things the way mom says to the child. Every word every action every reply. He says the same thing to his doll. His favourite doll is piggy,and then elephant and Pooh. He loves his piggy stuffed doll.
