You all know about the new TV channel from Sun Network - Chutti TV, My son has added this channel in to his list of viewing channels. I would say the programs are some what good, some cartoons dubbed in Tamil and having a re run. So ideas flicked from Pogo TV channel and some from Disney too. Any ways it is fun for these kids and it was the right time to launch the channel as it is holidays for kids.

One thing which amazes me is the commercials from the day one of the launch of this TV channel. Even POGO TV had some relaxing times with no commercials initially. Phew they have a good marketing network team.

There is one more program just like "Mask of Zorro" types. Do watch them. I will get back on this shortly on why I mentioned about this particular program.

After MAD Episode at  Pogo TV channel,  Aditya now watches one more program at Disney Channel. It is more or less similar program like  MAD at pogo TV channel. Here is the video, you can hear from Aditya.


After watching shiny & me on how to pronounce (lip syncing ) the program name "Art Attack", Aditya said this one


Well it was fun at the same time we were worried, some times Aditya pronounces certain words differently.

I am fan of MAD @ pogo TV channel. I thank Mr. Rob for his creative talents which he teaches to all ages. I am fan of his works and watch them regularly with my son. I had missed couple of MAD episodes due to my personal work. So I started my quest on the internet to find the missing episodes of MAD which appeared on Pogo TV channel. Here is what I googled

But I was unlucky.

I didn't stop, I kept googling. Here are few things which I came across the internet which are interesting just like MAD

Instructables - you can find more DIY of your interest at this site. Just visit the home page of this site and do a search of your interest.
I guess the DIY's should keep MAD fans busy for couple of weeks.

I tried even google, youtube videos. I was in vain.
searching on the internet to get mad with Rob. I will update you with resources now and then.

My son is crazy about Power rangers, there is a whole lot of series in power rangers.

Kind Note: This happened few weeks earlier.
Long ago when we had been to Saravana stores, I had to buy him the Power Rangers kit. I didn't know he was so crazy about power rangers at that time.

One Saturday when I asked him to finish off with his home work, he requested me that he will finish of with the Power rangers and after which he would start reading his lessons or doing his home work. I agreed, But the funny part which I didn't know was that there were a series of power rangers stories running on the Disney channel.
The program started in the morning as soon as he woke up, I waited for the program to get completed. After some time I approached and inquired whether the program didn't get over, He said no. So I started watching along with him and as soon as the program gets finished I could get him started with his home work. One series ended. He said wait there one more power rangers to follow. I was shocked. He knew that I cannot stop him from viewing as I had promised him (Aditya was so wicked).
After all the series got ended it was after noon and Aditya was ready for lunch. Then the next series of power rangers started. I seriously got fed up with it. Some of the series were mere repetition which my wife said. I asked what is so special, When I mocked at one the characters Aditya became furious. He started behaving like one of the power rangers and started hurting me.

When I discussed the same with few of my friends they said local NEWS from the Tamil dailies had stories about few kids hurted their siblings and friends, Some landed in trouble.

What is the Indian censor board doing?. They could happy ban AXN for 3 months just because they showed some one mocking Our father of the Nation - Gandhi. Well they didn't actually ban for that (this was the hidden reason), they banned the channel because some particular program had to do with censorship as per Indian government rules.

I am least bother about the ban of AXN, but why are they not banning Power Rangers, it doesn't seemed to help the kids.
I have now made a deal with Aditya, that he would not view the series of Power rangers and in return he could go out and play games outside the campus and some candies & biscuits in favour.

Kindly Note: this doesn't mean I hate Disney channel, both of us watch the club house disney , pocoyo, little Einstein and lot more. Well one more thing is that we both are fans of Pogo TV channel. We love Mad, little planet etc.

Has any one noticed the POGO TV channel recently, heard that POGO has become pay channel, does this mean I have to go for CAS
I am loosing one good TV channel for my Spoilt Brat, the best part is that, he is now watching Toon Disney for the power rangers (totally sick episodes for parent)
there is one more program on Disney I guess it is Pocoyo which we both love.
